INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPERS

 

  1. Please send your manuscripts electronically by March 31, 2009 to appropriate track chair as an email attachment and a copy must be sent electronically to the Conference Chair: Dr Chiaku Chukwuogor, email: chiaku.chukwuogor@globip.com and chukwuogorc@easternct.edu 
     

  2. Review: All manuscripts will be subjected to a double blind, peer review process
     

  3. General style/format guide include 
     

    1. Competitive papers must be no longer than 20 pages (all inclusive), double spacing. Manuscripts should contain a 100 word abstract and conform to the Harvard style of writing. Manuscript must be clearly written without any spelling or grammatical errors.

    2. Manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under simultaneous review elsewhere.

    3. Manuscripts should be double spaced, Times New Roman font, 12pt with 3.5cm margin on all four sides and use Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

    4. All tables and figures should be incorporated into the body of the paper. 

    5. The paper should have two covers. The first cover should contain the title, abstract, full authorship, authors’ academic degrees, professional titles, affiliations, postal and e-mail addresses, acknowledgment of research sponsors and assistance.  This should then be followed by another cover that only indicates the article title and the abstract (this will be used for anonymous refereeing). This second cover should be followed by the full paper. 
       

  4. Publications 
     

    1. All accepted papers after online presentations and discussions and rewriting will be published in any of our journals: the African Journal of Accounting, Economics, Finance and Banking Research; the North American Journal of Finance and Banking Research; the Asia Pacific Journal of Finance and Banking Research; the European Journal of Finance and Banking Research; the Global Journal of Finance and Banking Issues and the Global Journal of International Business Research. It is therefore important that initial submissions should be carefully researched and authored. 
       

  5. Conference participation:
     

    1. At least one author must pre-register for the paper presentation and log in and present the paper in the required manner, possibly Power Point and at the required time. Failure to do this will result in the paper not qualifying for consideration. Because of time difference the required time for presentation may vary according to your country of residence.
       

  6. Copyright: 
     

    1. The copyright of publications deriving from this conference will belong to the Global Business Investment and Publications LLC, one page abstracts excluded.
       

  7. Dead line for paper submission: March 31st, 2009.
